Academics

Saint Pancras School is accredited by the AdvacED and by the New York State Board of Regents,  Students participate in all NYS Testing and in Annual Diocesan Standardized Tests.

Average performance on testing is above the national/state norm.  Teachers are college graduates, many with advanced degrees and New York State certification.

Nursery School Program:  Meets Monday-Friday from 7:50 – 11:00 am.  Children must be 3 years old by December 31st.

Pre-Kindergarten: St. Pancras School offers a Full Day or Half Day Pre-K program. Children must be four years old by December 31st to qualify for our program. Children wear our gym uniform.

Grades K-8: Children in Grades K through 8 receive our full academic program with special emphasis on the basics of Reading, Math, and English.  Special studies in Physical Education and Computers are provided.  Students are encouraged to compete in academic events such as Religion, Spelling, Math, Oratorical and Science contest on both the School and Diocesan levels.

The children actively participate in the prayer and worship life of the Catholic Church, including Mass, preparation for the reception of the Sacraments of Penance, Eucharist and Confirmation and the celebration of special feasts during the Church year.  We teach and preach the gospel in our words, actions and reflection of our faith through prayer and community.
